Born in 1963 in Vasa, Finland.
Lives and works as freelance designer in Stockholm, Sweden. She has practiced as a ceramist and glass designer, working with one-piece productions and smaller series in porcelain and glass, as the “Ink”, a collection of free-blown glass bowls and vases, suggesting the strokes of a pen. She has also participated in various ceramics and glass exhibitions, including shows at Centrum Goed Werk, Zulte Belgium, and Museum of Applied Art, Cologne, Germany. She’s been working with industrial design for Villeroy & Boch (Germany), Covo (Italy) and Sweden’s Boda Nova. Curator and editor for “Kraft” exhibition in Gula Byggningen, Gustavsberg 2005. Teaches design at the University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm. She received her MFA in 1993 from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at Konstfack (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm). |
