Ernesto Spicciolato.
Was born in Italy in 1957, graduated at the University of Architecture, Florence, in 1983.
Awards:
National Architecture Competition "Plebiscito & VII Novembre Squares", Castel di Sangro, 1989 (1st prize);
International Architecture Competition "New York Waterfront", NY, 1988, in collaboration with Andrea Branzi (2nd prize);
"Mutant Material in Contemporary Design" MOMA, NY,1995;
Innovation Award for the bathroom collection "Arctic" designed for Gedy;
Design Yearbook 1998 for the collection of the best European products for the door-handle "Ludus" designed for Colombo Design and the silicon "Trivet" designed for Viceversa;
Best 50 products in USA 1998 for “Trivet”;
“Arctic” collection entered the permanent collection of MOMA in 1997.
